In Dartmoor prison, a convicted thief creates three music boxes where hidden within, three clues to where the stolen Bank of England currency printing plates are placed. As the innocent buyers of these music boxes, one by one are found murdered, Sherlock Holmes and the good doctor investigate.
Released in June of 1946, this was the last of the Rathbone/Bruce Sherlock Holmes adventures.
